Reach In-You are part of the Body

This powerful message challenges us to move beyond passive church attendance and become active, functioning members of Christ's body. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, we're reminded that the church isn't a building we visit—it's a living organism we belong to, where each person represents an essential part. Just as a human body needs every member to function properly, from the hand to the seemingly insignificant big toe that maintains our balance, the church requires every believer to step into their God-given role. The sermon confronts a sobering reality: churches across our nation are closing because a small percentage of faithful servants have aged out or worn down from carrying the entire load. We cannot build a healthy church on the backs of a few dedicated people while the majority simply warm pews. God didn't save us to be spectators; He saved us to actively express His love through service, consistency, and commitment. The challenge isn't about obligation or guilt—it's about recognizing that when we serve, we're showing others who Jesus is. When we're absent or inactive, someone misses the unique contribution only we can offer. This is our invitation to examine where we fit in the body, to pray about how God wants us to love His people, and to step into roles that reflect the sacrificial love Christ showed us on the cross.
